The King’s Jewel World – Marywood University
My husband and I made an impromptu trip to Marywood University this past week-end. This Catholic liberal arts university, located in Scranton, PA, is mentioned in The King’s Jewel series as the place where Alexander works. There is even a scene set on the campus in the third book ‘Deaglan’s Deception’. The campus is picturesque, with lush landscaping and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. River Rock from Fairy
River Rock comes from the Otherworld and isn’t found naturally in the Human World. Even in Faery, it is rare and therefore quite valuable. Found near water, it often forms near the thresholds between our two worlds. I’m not aware of any medicinal uses for River Rock. However, the gemstone stops sound from travelling on the wind, helping the person wearing it hide from the fae.
