The Good Pharmacist’s Deadly Secret’s Reviewed on Reedsy Discovery

The Good Pharmacist’s Deadly Secret’s has been selling on Amazon for a couple of weeks now, but today it gets an official launch hosted by Reedsy Discovery. One of the hardest things to do after writing a book is getting your work in the hands of readers. Building up your reviews on Amazon, Goodreads and the like is one method and the reason I frequently ask readers to leave one when they finish a book.

Reedsy Discovery is another method of finding readers. First, they do a professional review of the book. My thanks goes out to my reviewer, Charlotte Graham. I’m pleased to say she loved the book and had wonderful things to say, including:

“As soon as I saw the cover for The Good Pharmacist’s Deadly Secret, I knew I wanted to read it. Fae elements sprinkled into a cozy mystery? Sign me up!

Our lovable protagonist, Sloan, is a fairy-like creature living in magical camouflage among humans in the Poconos. Her life is turned upside down when she finds herself at the wrong place at the wrong time, landing her in hot water as a suspect in a murder case. With a little help from some of her magical friends, Sloan must find the real killer before it’s too late.

The author’s writing is both engaging and witty, leading the reader to root wholeheartedly for Sloan. The quick pacing of the plot beats creates a tightly woven narrative. For that reason, The Good Pharmacist’s Deadly Secret is an absolute page-turner.”

Now we come to part 2. If enough people vote for — or upvote as they refer to it — my book I will get more exposure on their website and they will blast news about the book out to all their readers interested in cozy mysteries. SO, with that information, you know what I’m about to ask. If you feel up to it, go on over to their site and upvote my book!

Loved it! 😍
“Light fantasy elements add to the charm of this endearing cozy mystery.”
